Mindfulness

Life can get pretty busy, sometimes we can find that we are so busy with all the things we have to do that we don't have time or energy to enjoy them. Sometimes we can feel worried about something, it may seem like something small but it takes up all of our energy worrying about it!

 

Jesus knew these feelings and sometimes felt just the same way. He knew that he needed some time, away from all the distractions and busyness of life, to be with God and be still. He would talk to God about his worries. Christians do this today when they pray, either on their own or with others. People who have different faiths also have ways of being still, quiet and finding peace.

 

Here are a few ideas which might help you make some peaceful spaces whilst you are at home....

Taking some quiet time can help us to enjoy all the things we have to do. If you are worried about something, think about who you could talk to about it. You could speak to someone in your family or any teachers at school.

Thanks you, Jesus that you showed us how to be quiet and spend time being peaceful.

Help us to find ways to be still so that we can feel peaceful too.
