Autumn Term- Why is learning to do good deeds so important to Jewish people?

We found out that Jewish people believe God's mitzvot are ways to help mend the world and make it better. We explored Jewish stories and found that they contain examples of good deeds. We explored how babies are welcomed in Jewish communities and some of the many other ways in which Jewish people care for our world.
